Welcome and thank you for your interest in TBIB’s exclusive ABF Annual Multi-trip insurance policy or ABF Single Trip Insurance Policy.
When it comes to travel insurance, finding the right policy for your specific needs, at the right price, is really important.
At TBIB we know you value peace of mind, so when we prepare a policy for you we make sure it's the best fit for your needs at the best price possible.
The 2016 Annual Multitrip policy covers all travel between 1st March 2016 and the 28th of February 2017.
The Single Trip Policy can be applied for at any time, prior to departure (we recommend commencing Travel Insurance as soon as you have paid your deposit).
The policy is available to ABF members, their families and friends. You can access a range of options designed to give you the very best cover for your specific needs and travel plans.
We recommend using Internet Explorer or Safari to complete your application.
Annual Multi-trip policy:
- Save with one premium covering unlimited travel for 12 months.
- Available to members, their family and friends up to and including the age of 90
- Covers all worldwide travel and Australia wide travel - over 100kms from home - up to 90 days per trip (includes cruising and on-piste skiing at no additional cost.).
- Option to purchase worldwide cover including Nth America or excluding Nth America (for a premium saving)
- Unlimited overseas medical and emergency assistance
- Up to $20,000 cover for cancellation costs and expenses per trip
- Up to $20,000 lost luggage cover
- Rental vehicle excess cover up to $5,000
- All pre-existing conditions assessed and considered. * (all conditions subject to medical assessment criteria)
- 24-hour medical advice & emergency assistance with all calls managed in Australia by ‘Customer Care’
- Completely online application including medical assessment (no doctors certificate required)
- Underwritten by certain underwriters of Lloyd's of London

Single trip policies:
The Single Trip Policy has a very similar range of very generous covers as the Annual Multi-trip policy but it is designed for travellers who are planning to take one trip this year.
- Available to members, their family and friends up to and including 90 years of age.
- Option to purchase worldwide cover including Nth America or excl. Nth America or Pacific Islands cover (including New Zealand, Fiji and Bali including stopovers in other areas not exceeding 48 hours (single trip policies only)
- Unlimited overseas medical and emergency assistance
- Up to $20,000 cover for cancelation costs and expenses per trip
- Up to $20,000 lost luggage cover
- Rental vehicle excess cover up to $5,000
- All pre-existing conditions assessed and considered.*(subject to medical assessment criteria)
- 24-hour medical advice & emergency assistance with all calls managed in Australia by ‘Customer Care’
- Completely online application including medical assessment (no doctors certificate required)
- Underwritten by certain underwriters at Lloyd's of London

Premiums for Single Trip Policies:
Premiums per application based on length of journey and destination. Please note that the online application is available to Members, family and friends up to and including the age of 90. For ages 91 and over contact us for an alternate single trip application.
