Council of Queensland Insurance Brokers

As a member of the CQIB since 1988, TBIB have been closely involved in the local insurance broking and underwriting market. CQIB consists of 54 member firms spread throughout Queensland. CQIB members enjoy the benefits having access to a local broker forum where all members benefit from the opportunity to discuss insurance matters facing them with their peers.

The Council also provides members with direct access to senior management and underwriters of the various insurers. Such affiliations are of enormous benefit to the clients of the broker members.

CQIB also provides its member firms access to specifically developed and endorsed Residential Landlords Insurance, Home and Contents Insurance and Travel Insurance.

Both Tony Bemrose and Sean Bemrose have been personally involved in the organisation and ongoing leadership of CQIB for many years with Tony serving as Vice President and Conference Chairman, and Sean formerly as Treasurer and currently as Vice President.
